Terms of Service

Last updated 27 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Nail My Interview. They cover what the service does, what you can and cannot do with it, how payment works, and how either of us can end the arrangement. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who you are dealing with

Nail My Interview is operated by an independent sole trader. Throughout this document "we", "us" and "Nail My Interview" mean that operator, and "you" means the person using the service.

You can reach us any time through our contact form. We answer every message, usually within two working days.

2. What the service is

Nail My Interview is a browser-based tool with three parts:

Everything runs in Chrome or Edge. There is nothing to install and no bot joins your call.

3. Your account

You need an account to use Nail My Interview. You must give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

One account is for one person. Sharing a paid account between several people is not permitted.

4. How you may and may not use it

Nail My Interview is a preparation and productivity tool. You agree to use it lawfully and honestly, which means:

You also agree not to resell or sublicense the service, attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer it, use it to process material you have no right to, use automated means to create accounts or consume the free allowance repeatedly, or use it to harass anyone.

5. Plans, payment and renewal

There is a free plan with fixed one-off allowances, and a paid Pro plan. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page and form part of these terms.

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider, identified at checkout. Where that provider acts as merchant of record, it sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT where they apply, and issues your receipt, and its terms apply to the transaction alongside these ones.

We never see or store your card details. The charge on your statement may show the payment provider's name rather than Nail My Interview.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then shown, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro until that period runs out.

If we change prices, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before it affects them, and you are free to cancel in that time.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

6. Your content

Your CV, your transcripts, your notes and your practice sessions remain yours. You keep all rights in them.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store that material on your account, to send it to the processors listed in our privacy policy so answers, summaries and feedback can be generated, and to display it back to you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

You can delete any individual note or practice session yourself at any time, and you can ask us to close your account and remove everything held under it.

7. What the service does not promise

Nail My Interview uses automatic speech recognition and large language models. Both make mistakes. Transcripts can mishear words, and suggested answers or feedback can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation.

Everything Nail My Interview produces is a suggestion for you to judge, not advice to follow. It is not legal, financial, medical or career advice. You are responsible for what you say and do. We do not promise you will get an interview, an offer or a job.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. It depends on third parties — speech recognition, language model and hosting providers — and their outages will affect it.

8. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost opportunities, offers or earnings, or for loss of data. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Nail My Interview whenever you like, and ask us at any time to close your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to abuse the free allowance through repeated sign-ups, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

We may also discontinue the service entirely, with at least 30 days' notice to paying subscribers and a pro-rata refund of anything unused.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version. For changes that materially affect your rights we will email account holders at least 14 days beforehand. Continuing to use Nail My Interview after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your own country.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms go through our contact form, or email support@nailmyinterview.com. Questions about a payment, an invoice or a refund can come to us or go directly to the payment provider shown on your receipt, whichever you prefer.
